It hardly seems possible, but it's been nearly two months since Ryan Paevey exited his role as Nathan West on General Hospital. The actor sat down to film a short but sweet video for fans, thanking them for their support. He also used the opportunity to reveal his next project.
"I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. I know it's been awhile -- I'm sorry it took me so long to do it, it's been a little hectic since I left the show. GH was my start [and] it was a great place to call home for four years," Paevey shared. "I hope you'll stick around. I'm going to continue to give you cool stuff to watch, the first of which being, by the time you see this, I will be in Canada, shooting Marrying Mr. Darcy. So, stick around. It's just the beginning."
Marrying Mr. Darcy is a sequel to the Hallmark Channel's 2016 film Unleashing Mr. Darcy, which was described as a modern-day spin on Pride & Prejudice.
There's no word yet on when the film will make it to your television set, but because Paevey just started filming, it's a safe bet that it won't be ready for broadcast until much later this year.
Paevey joined General Hospital in January 2014.
